Message

 

     To whom and where am I sending these messages? The messages may be coming from somewhere other than myself and I am only an apparatus to express these messages. I am conveying messages, even unknown to myself. Although the expression of the messages is abstract, simultaneously the meaning within the messages is a product of the many aspects brought forth from within me—emotions, thoughts, cognition, subconscious, movement, and so forth. My seemingly vague messages may hit home with a special meaning to someone else. This series of works portrays my beliefs that our lives can be meaningful yet also meaningless and vain at the same time.
