Subjective Timbre

 

In this complicated and chaotic world, art is where I can truly seek and dream of freedom through a candid minimalistic lifestyle. The “Subjective Timbre” Series, with only a few colours, simplistic but bold strokes concurrently portray sensitivity and delicacy in the characteristics of each colour. This Series creates emphasis on the symbolic and strong black stroke within the large expanses of white space. The bold, black stroke that contrasts against the pale, white space represents the force of an undeniable fate within our lives and unyielding self-identity. Within these characteristics, I am able to distinctively portray the many different personalities and relations in various ways. Although oneself of the past, present and future cannot stay the same, something indefinable and unvarying binds the three together – the same method that defines my abstract art works.
